Default Long exhaust hangers for magnaflow install??

Hey guys,

I just installed the full magnaflow exhaust on my 2008 Tahoe LTZ. I love the sound and look, but the tip is REALLY close to my rear bumper. Its about half to three quarters of a cm away from the bumper. Does anyone know where I can get some longer exhaust hangers?

Thanks!

If you're talking about the rubber ones, you may be out of luck. You could try auto parts stores.

Or you could make an extension by taking an eye bolt and bending the threaded end at a right angle to fit in the rubber hanger and hook the eye on the existing hanger on the frame. Might put a rubber grommet in the eye to isolate the metal and also prevent it from sliding off.

Of course there's always duct tape.

I ended up taking it to a muffler shop...they were able to bend the hanger on the car downwards a bit. I have enough clearance now...

P.S. - the Magnaflow exhaust is perfect! Not too loud...awesome when you get on it...no drone. I have it with an AEM Brute Force..its awesome!
