Default loose liftgate handle

Hello... I am new to this group but I have not had success on browser searches so I thought I would ask the group.
I have a 2007 Chevy Tahoe and the lower liftgate handle is loose. It keeps getting looser and I am afraid it will fall off. If that happens, the wiring for the liftgate is built in so I want to resolve the issue to avoid this happening.

Is this mounted by an adhesive or is there a bracket mount within the door that I will need to access?

The rear hatch handle is bolted through the door frame. You will have to remove the interior trim to gain access to the bolts. I tried to find a good diagram for you of the door, but did not find anything good enough to post.

Good luck with your repair.
