Default Loose suspension?

Recently my trucks started doing the same thing (03 Tahoe Z71). I always start to get an uncomfortable feeling when I get up to 50 mph and it feels like my trucks going to fall apart at 70mph. When it's windy outside I'm afraid to go above 40mph because a hard gust makes it feel like I'm going to blow off the road. At first I thought maybe it was a result of my tires, which seem to be showing signs of wear on the inside. But now after reading this I'm wondering if it's the other way around. Maybe it's something else thats causing my tires to wear unevenly? If you happen to find out what the issue is or if anyone has suggestions please let me know.

There are several reasons for this, and the more popular are...

A bent Wheel (causes vibrations),
A grossly misadjusted Tie Rod (less likely), and...
Lower Control Arm Bushings are worn (more probable).

Hoe's and Burbs usually are as stable as Tanks from (angular/side) wind pressure. It's possible that all you need as a Front End Alignment to stabilize your ride.

There's lots of unscrupulous Shops out there, and replacing the Lower Control Bushings aren't cheep, and probably the first thing a shady mechanic will recommend.

Get a second opinion !
(and then some good Tires too...be Safe)!

PS:
Bossman, first of all Welcome to the Forum !
Posting as you have (on a Thread someone else has started) is called "Hi-Jacking".
Should you need to discuss your vehicle problems any further, please start a Thread of your own. I, and I'm sure several others here, would be very glad to help in any way we can.

Have a good Day !

Welcome to the forum.

I agree. You need to get the front and rear suspension thoroughly checked out.

Started new thread for you.

Oh ok. Thanks for the advice. And sorry for the "hi jack" I'm still learning the ropes.
