Default loss of radio, signal and brake lights

Yesterday my 1998 GMC Suburban had a massive loss of power - I thought the fuel pump had died but after drifting to the side of the road it stared right up. When I turned the headlights on, however, the radio died. When I turn the headlights off the radio comes back on. Today the turn signals and brake lights went away. (Emergency lights too) No fuses are blown - the alternator is putting out about 14 volts and I have a garage appointment on Thursday if I can't figure this out. I love this truck but I need to keep everything working.

grounds can cause all sorts of issues. i would look at all of them including the battery connection, one strong indication is the loss of radio when youre drawling power for the lights

I checked the ground and it was badly corroded. I cleaned it all up and all my challenges went away. A big thank you for the guidance. It now purrs like a kitten again. Thanks again
