Default low oil pressure warning

Had a bad fuse block put new one in from dealer along with new battery. When I started first time no oil pressure on gauge and engine making strange noise. Warning message on DIC stating low oil pressure turn off engine. Oil level good and haven't had issue with burning oil. Could a connection issue on fuse block cause this?

Yes, but not the noise.

What would be the connection to look for? Fuse block is same as old one, no pushed out pins on connectors or loose plugs. How do I check to see if oil is circulating? Could extreme cold cause this?

The oil pressure sending switch is either unplugged or has damaged wires. You can hook up a mechanical oil pressure gauge to see if there actually is oil pressure.
