Default Lower Intake Manifold replacement

I am in the process of replacing the lower intake manifold on my 97 suburban 5.7L 350. What is the best replacement part for my money. I priced parts at autozone this morning and found a few differnet options that were a little confusing. One manifold was "non-EGR' while the other was "EGR" it was explained to me that the ones that were non-EGR did not have the EGR mount on it. I have also been told there are different options for the gasket Which do I want to avoid? One last thing, is there anything else that would be benificial to work on as long as I have the engine that far apart? This is the first time I am digging this far into the engine, but have do quite a bit of work previously so it should not be a problem, just need to know the specifics on the parts, and anything to avoid while taking the old one apart.

Thanks, SPC
