Sorry, I haven't snapped a pic of it yet. Dang snow and ice has turned our roads into a salt bed, so needless to say our black hoe is about half white! I was thinking about that wire when I did the rear. When I took off the shocks and lowered the axle, I noticed that the rear abs wires were very tight. I quickly jacked it up a bit to take the tension off. Maybe that was the trouble? The weird thing is that one guy on here put his back to stock and the issue went away. Kinda screwy. It isn't a big deal, but might be worth looking into replacing those abs wires to see if they are the culprits.I'll take some pics soon, and yes, the rear does look just a bit lower. Nothing bad, but a bit. I was wondering if I adjust the autoride links just a bit, if the airbags can raise it up 1/4" or so.

I had decided against the Eibach spring only kit. I couldnt find out for sure what the measurements on the kit were. Some said, 1.8/2.4, some said 2/3, some said 2/2. So I wasnt sure and i didnt want the 2/2. Plus, with just the spings it would have lost the ride quality.

I have since returned the Eibach and purchased the mcgaugys 2/3 kit. It arrived yesterday and is sitting in my garage. I am now a bit skeptical about putting it on.
The springs won't lose the ride quality...I am very much happy with the ride than stock height. Stock height was riding to rough (almost like to tight on the suspension) on messed up pavements. With the springs I don't feel any roughness just smoothness almost like riding on pillows. I'm very happy with Eibach. Check these galleries...they have an white 07 Caddy 24's with Eibach springs...I think your truck will look like this height. Oh make sure to check out the Audio setups...they are off the hook! http://www.uniqueautosport.com/ugallery.html

Hey dirtywork,

Thanks for commenting! I was wonder how the ride on Eibach was and "riding on pillows" is just what I wanted to hear! Is your Tahoe an LTZ?

No problem...that is how I feel about Eibach springs...I wonder if anyone here has Eibach and what their experiences are. My Hoe is an LT3.

Best Regards,

DW

Bobby,

What size wheels do you have? Can you post some pictures of it lowered? COuld it be your tires hitting the fender well liner making the noise?

Most likely the install and not the springs. You also need to trim the bump stops to gain back the travel lost by lowering. Did the installer reuse the rubber spring isolator, that keeps the vibrations and sounds down.

Dont take it off, have it installed correctly. If you paid money, have them re do the install.
