I am going to purchase a Tahoe soon for the 3rd time. I have bought them used with less than 70,000 miles and they run well. Im looking at a 2008 Tahoe and it has 150,000 miles. How many miles is too many?

Depends of owner maintenance primarily. If it runs well, has good oil pressure and drives well, you could get another 150k out of it. I got well over 300K on a Chevy
350 CI pickup once.

That mostly depends on how the truck was maintained. It is a plus if the maintenance records are available. With regular oil and filter changes 150,000 miles is not too much.

that generation; get one built after november 2009. any 5.3L with afm built before that date could have oil consumption issues
