I have yet to experience this myself, but my friend and my wife both have at different times. They describe a backfire/loud pop sound followed by the truck bucking and surging then it dies out. It will start right back up and it will even drive. Until the vehicle reaches somewhere between 15-35 mph. Both times this occurred the vehicle had been driven at least twenty mins and was at full running temperature.

I have pulled the breather off and looked at the injector wires and they are old but look to be in decent shape. The PCV valve is dirty and not in the greatest shape but I have a replacement as well as a throttle body regasket kit. I also noticed a considerable amount of oil leaking from around the TB down the intake and onto the ground. WTF is this? I am an old school Carb guy and these are some of the main reasons why!!! Any help would be greatly appreciated.
