Default More Compartments

I've been driving my new 2010 Tahoe LT for 2weeks now. I been very happy with it so far but would like to have more compartments to store items. All the cup holders are wasted space. I miss haveing the sunglass, garage door transmiter and door compartments that I had in my 2002 Silverado. Has anyone found an after market company that makes compartments for Tahoes? Not looking for storage units but something that would be part of the interior.

VicV50, you are so on the money fella! Storage storage storage, I have always been disappointed with the lack of thought GM gave us on these big boys.
If the Ford Expedition designers can create an umpteen amount of compartments, one would think the genius's at GM could have equally done the same.

I hope a few have some advice, I too would not mind some more storage ideas that appear OE.

my '95 tahoe had WAY more places to store stuff, AND when it was stored I didn't hear it rattle near what my '09 does... my 09 Tahoe is my last GM product. Ever.

You can get a liftout accessory for the center console for GM for about $35.

While it doesn't add storage space, it certainly makes the center console more usable.

that is probably our biggest complaint about our Tahoe - I have more storage in my Acura TL...the "glovebox" in the Tahoe is a joke also.
that is why we have a small container in between our middle row seats. Have to put baby toys and stuff somewhere
other than that we love it!

I have a black second row console for sale. It's an aftermarket one but is very functional. See picture in my ad here: https://chevroletforum.com/forum/sho...268#post143268

Thanks anyway but that console wouldn't work for me. Accually I'm using my Tahoe as a service vehicle. My third row seats are removed and second row seats are folded up. BTW anyone need a ebony leather third row seat?
