Default Moving the crossrails on the luggage rack

newbie question. the cross rails on my 2009 Tahoe luggage rack do not move easily. Are they locked? how are they moved? thanks in advance...

Welcome to the forum.

You have to flip up the latch on each side and move the crossbar and then lock it in position. Might show in the owner's manual.

thank you. had tried the handbook, nothing there and should have realized... I had tried to move it but had not applied enough elbow grease. thanks again...
