Default Multiple BMC replacements on 2002 Suburban 1500 4x4

Hello all! I am looking to buy a 2002 Suburban 1500 4 wheel drive tomorrow. I was looking over the car fax sheet and noticed that three times in it's life (but not within the last 100,000 miles according to Car Fax at least) this Burb has had it's BCM replaced.

What would cause this? Is this a common issue? Do you think I'll have to continue replacing the BCM?

Any other suggestions on what to look for? I haven't actually seen the Burb yet other than looking at the outside. I will get it checked out by my mechanic and an inspection by myself too. But I'm mainly just wondering about the BCM at the moment.

As I said, I am looking to buy this probably tomorrow so any help you can provide is appreciated.

-Andrew
