welcome to the forum
For sure check the actual level on the stick...
Since you recently had work done on it, I would check the connections on and around the engine that might have been bumped or pulled off...
when you started it how did it sound? the engine will be pretty noisy/clattery if there is no or little oil circulating....
If it is noisy shut it off it could be a bad oil pump...
if its not, the its most likely the sensor or sending unit...having the pressure checked externally is a good idea...

you have to check your oil level first because usually light came on when level are low so also check all the connections because you have done a recently work on it.

Try to add new oil to the oil tank. If you notice low oil pressure, or if the oil pressure light comes on telling you to check the oil pressure, check the oil level soon. Once you've added more oil, if the light stays on and the pressure is still reduced, have a mechanic look at your oil pump.

When was the last time the oil and filter were changed? Don't drive it with low oil level or low pressure. You will damage the engine. Check all the above posts to make sure. You can also use a mechanical pressure switch to double check the pressure.
