Default My replacement AFM lifters malfunction

I had a lifter collapse on my 5.3. I replaced all 16 lifters, as well as the camshaft and the LOMA (lifter oil manifold assembly). Lifters were aftermarket, LOMA is GM. Ran fine on startup, then after warmup the truck started missing on a cylinder on the driver's side. I found the the lifters on number one had pumped up and weren't releasing. I hooked up my scanner and can shut off the LOMA and they release pressure and go back to V8 mode immediately. At times the truck runs perfectly and doesn't miss a beat, then it will malfunction and start missing on the driver's side, sometimes on one cylinder, now starting intermittently on two cylinders, both on the driver's side. The passenger side is working perfectly. I'm somewhat stumped, is this a lifter problem, or a LOMA problem? I can turn the LOMA on and off with my scanner, so I'm thinking it is alright. Any thoughts?
