Name this part please: Breaks
2001 suburban 1500 Brake oil leak
2001 suburban 1500 brake oil leak
I can’t figure out the name of this part. The vehicle is a Chevy suburban 1500 year 2001 this is located in the rear, underneath. The brakes keep locking up and have been completely replaced. Rotor, caliper, brake pads, sliding pin, including the master cylinder replaced. I discovered this point of leakage after replacing the master cylinder and I can’t figure out what the name of this part is please help
That’s the EVAP vent valve - it has nothing to do with the brake system.
What’s probably happening is the line is leaking in that area and brake fluid is getting sprayed on the vent valve. Have a helper pump the brake pedal while watching the area (wear safety glasses) to pin point the source of the leak.

This is super helpful information thank you.
