Garmin offerers lifetime map updates for $70 bucks for many of there units...
Navigation is "free" with my Sprint data services on my phone...
Both of the above are movable to other vehicles and can be used for walking or biking situations...
200 bucks for a map update is in the words of Dr. Evil regoddamndiculous....

Riaa gave up...
so; all the $ the artists were making was wasted by spending $100 to recover $1.00
Not only that, but all charts prove that music 'piracy' actually increases music 'purchases'...
they were suing the very people BUYING their products...
But that's another thread...

I made a backup copy for myself. If anyone is interested, email me at bauer4567@hotmail.com. The tahoeyukonforum I am on, often links to this forum. You all have a great community over here!! Between the two sites, I don't think there is much you can't figure out!

No free update
Not a chance, I bought my 2010 Denali 10 days ago and recieved the old disc. GM told me that when the vehicle leaves the factory it comes with the latest update at that time. It is not from when you buy the vehicle. As I said mine is 10 days old and GM is offering me the special price of $199 to update. Sweet huh.
