Default navigation outdated? 2009-2012?

hi so im in market for a tahoe im debating between ltz and the other lower priced models...i noticed its quite a bit more expensive than the others. So heres the question I have. maybe its not a good thing to compare..but i have a kenwood garmin in my altima i currently own...its a in dash 7 inch touch screen with a dvd player and back up camera... the back up camera has 7 different views...you can see different angles to see if anyone is coming from a blind spot...

anyway my point is from what i have seen thats the major difference between ltz and the other models....could someone give me an idea if its worth it? im kinda seeing it as i could just put my own system in a tahoe...and not pay the extra 10000 some of these ltz models seem to cost

also wanted to add that the garmin navigation seems alot better than what comes factory even with a 2013 tahoe..maybe its petty but going through the big cities i have 3-d builidngs and attractions ...i also have a 2003 350 z and it has a factory navigation in it...and its sad to say...but the nav is very similar to whats in the new tahoes....its amazing to me that they havent upgraded this in 10 years

Not sure if it helps but I have an LTZ and I like my son's Garmin a lot more than the navigation system on the Tahoe. It is not easy to use.

Meant to add that the updated CD was about $200. Ridiculous.
