The touch screen on my 2005 Tahoe Z71 will black out when it feels like it. It acts like it is being turned off and on but the radio continues to play normally without interuption except for an occasional poping sound. Control of the stereo is lost but I can use the steering wheel controls to change stations and volume. When it goes black you cannotuse the buttons on the touchscreen. It comes back on like it is being turned on for the first time with the Bose / Chevy logo but like i said the stereo keeps playing. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Could it possibly be a loose wire in the back? Has anyone else had this problem?
