Default Need electrical help please.

I have a '99 Suburban 5.7L enginee.

When I turn on the headlights the radio led channel display goes out (radio button lights are off all the time). When lights are turned off the radio LED channel display comes back on. Radio continues to work regardless of whether the lights are on or off.

I'd like to know what to investigate first.

Thank you.

I would check the wiring of the radio and also the headlight fuse first.

Check the dimmer switch and make sure someone hasn't turned the interior lights all the way down and or off....
