I have a 1998 Suburban with 135k miles on it. Over the last week I have had the engine and whole electrical system shut down on me completely three times.

What happens is i will start the truck cold after sitting through the night. I shift into reverse and back out of the drive and when I shift out of reverse the engine dies and all lights on the cluster and headlights die also. I will turn the key to off and back to on and it acts like nothing happens (other than having to reset the clock and my presets). It starts right up with no cel or any other indicator light and will run the rest of the day turning it on and off and going from park to reverse to drive. This has me well beyond stumped and thanks for any help.
