As the title says guys I need some help I've been looking around and can't figure out what alternator I have size wise i know it's a Delphi automotive brand but that's it here's my ROP codes.

Second question is how big in amps can i go on my engine its the 5.3 and who do i go to for a bigger alternator brand wise.

The KG8 means it is a 130 amp alternator. A vin search shows the same thing. Stick with AC Delco.

We do a lot of police package equipped vehicles in our service dept. Many of them that have heavy electrical loads use a special bracket that allows a double alternator setup all GM stuff nothing aftermarket
