I like the trim and grille.
I wish the two tone seats were a little darker so they would match a little better. I don't like the rims or bumper. I wonder about the chrome handles on the "off-road" model and not on the LTZ.

On second, look the mirror covers and partial handle covers are brushed.

The gauges are cool at least you can see them in the Z71. I understand that GM is rethinking the problem with the gauges in the Tahoes. They have had numerous complaints and their answer to us was "drive around with the parking lights on until they can come up with a fix". Can you believe that?

 

What problem is that?

The LTZ's are all now is shipping with chrome door handles, mirror covers and grill inserts.

 

I was wondering about the seeing the guages comment also. I dont seem to have a problem seeing it!

As for the chrome handles, i personally like the body color handles. I have also been a believer that if your bumpers are body color not chrome, adding chrome to the rest of the body looks slightly out of place. Just my OPINION!

 

I think the gauges comment is refereing to how they are recessed, thus it can make it hard on occassion to see them. for me this isn;t a major problem, but I have noticed it when driving on an overcast day where it isn;t quite dark enough for the auto headlights to kick on.

 

Well I will be ordering a Z71 4wd tomorrow to replace my 07 2wd. Dealer has allocation for 3 and should be built around Thanksgiving.
