Well, bought a 1999 suburban recently, and have been doing routine maintenance, but while on a road trip to go back to see my family, wife and I noticed a weird knock every once in awhile. Sounded like something was alive underneath the truck and knocking on the bottom of the floorboard close to the firewall. Would this be ball joints or tie rods? The suburban is 2WD.
