Well I lost my BRAND NEW EXHAST TIP LAST NIGHT.. Some nasty ppl just unbolted it.. So today I PUT another on and welded the nut so no nasty ppl can unbolt them .. or you would swadge the nut on... Marie

I checked tonight and it was not welded on just clamped. The measurements for the tipare 6.75" from end to end and 4.0" wide at the opening. It's what I would call short compaired to the ones they installed on my Silverado's duel exhaust. If you look at the resonator to the end of the pipe it may be 5.0" to6.0"so a longer tip would stick out too far and just wouldn't look right. My service manager show me his dealers parts catalog and GM makes a multitude of tips for all their models.I hope this answered your question.
