hello im new to the forum and i need a bit of help with my 2010 tahoe. first problem. since i got the truck the interior lights do not go on when i open the doors so at night its is pitch black. i dont know how to set them to go on. next is, i have factory bose stero without nav i added a new jensen vm89022hd or something radio/dvd player in place of the factory head unit. i purchased the proper wire harness to convert to the plug and also adapt for the onstar. problems now are i have no blinker sound(dont mind that) also when i use the phone or onstar, i am no longer able to adjust the volume with the radio **** and it is obnoxiously loud. i do still have seatbelt chimes and what not. i know jensen is not the highest quality but i think the flaw mab be in the new conversion harness but i double checked and to the best of my knowladge i have it correct. everyhing else works perfect..any ideas??? thanks

 

The door lights have an override switch on the left side of the dash, if you reach out your left hand there should be a push button that locks in/out. if it's pushed IN it will keep your lights off.

as for the radio, GM sends the sounds for the onstar / door chimes through the radio, there is a special module you have to buy, but I do not know the part #.
