Default New to the forums.

Just baught my 2002 Tahoe 5.3 last week. Love it so far, I was looking for a 1500 Z71, but I just couldn't resist the price on the Hoe.

I knew before I baught it that I intended on lifting it 6" with some 35" tires. Not even owning it a week I have already taken off the running boards.

I am here for information. I am looking for information both on quality lifts, and power adders. I have tried to search for some bolt on's but haven't found much.

Thanks for all the help.

I have also read that the LS6 Intake Manifold will bolt on to the 5.3. Is there any truth to that? What kind of a difference would it make?

Welcome to the forum.

Not sure the LS6 manifold would buy you much w/o the cam, pistons, heads, etc.

Are there not any type of go fast bolt ons made for these motors? I have been searching for several days and have come up with nothing.

Procharger blower. Probably the only "bolt-on" that will actually give you some serious hp increase. CAIs, TB spacers, headers, cat-backs, etc really don't buy much except some maybe a little up around 4K-5K rpm. Of course you could throw in a crate engine and get a 3/36 warranty.

You wouldn't happen to have a link to a website where I could find these things would you Shark? I've honestly been looking for days and can only find one set of headers made by a knock off company and I can't seem to find any type of exhaust options. I will end up makeing my exhaust myself, mainly cause I am a tight wad like that, but I would like to see the design of what's been done and what works.

I know I'm not going to throw a blower on this one, I don't really feel like tearing apart the motor to support a blower. I've got another car waiting for me to finish the turbo build anyways lol

Thank's for the help thus far.

I think I can speak for shark when I say "Google is your friend"
but you can also check out Summit racing, and you can find some items at GM parts direct under the accessories selection....

A ProCharger shouldn't require any engine teardown. It's pretty much a bolt-on.
