Could it be "wear and tear"? the truck is a 97 with about 160K....Also we think the after market alarm system is messed up we didn't notice it at first but there are 3 inline fuses and 2 were disconnected. When we plugged them back in it started going off for no reason so we disconnected the fuses again...I asked the previous owner if he had any electrical issues with the truck and he said, "None at all" but I am assuming he is lying because why would you disable your alarm system (pulling inline fuses out) if you didn't have problems with it?
