New, looking for help w/ '08 Tahoe Bench Seats!
Hello,
It was suggested to me that I join a forum to find the Chevy parts and advice I need. I want to switch out our middle-row captains chairs in our 2008 Tahoe LTZ for a bench seat. I was quoted $1500 from Chevy to build a new seat, and about $400 for labor to install. I'm trying to find a seat that will fit from a third party to purchase. I found this on eBay:
"New 2nd Row Bench Seats for any 2007-2014 Tahoe, Escalade, or Yukon. These seats are out of a 2014 Tahoe and will ony fit short wheel base SUV's like Tahoes, short Yukons, and short Escalades. These seats will replace the factory bucket 2nd row seats in 30 minutes or less with no drilling required. BRAND NEW SEATS. THESE SEATS WILL NOT FIT SUBURBANS, ESCALADE ESV OR YUKON XL. Mounting bolts/screws not included. These are manual seats - they are not electric or heated. Will ship via freight - e-mail for a quote. I will need your zip code, if delivering to business or residence, and if lift gate is required. Local pickup ok. Located in Richmond, Texas."
and I think it would work, but it doesn't come with mounting bolts/screws? Is this a problem? How do I know if this will fit our Tahoe? What kind of questions should I be asking the seller? Would this work and be a good idea to purchase? Any advice welcome! Thank you!
