Default What the heck are these pipes for? Help my solve the mystery.

I was doing a rear brake job today and noticed 4 pipes on the passenger side which run the length of the vehicle and enter up inside right behind the rear tire. I know there is a 12 volt connector back there, and a door lock button...anybody have an idea?

Thanks guys for answering my question. I had no idea that the heating/AC conditioning unit was in the rear! Makes sense tho. I looked it up in my Haynes manual, and voila! There is a photo exactly like mine. LOL. Good to know.

Default Rear A/C and By-Passing it...

Hello ALL,
This thread was the closest I could find to getting started since "Search" kept coming up negative.
I want to disconnect the rear air... (It's Leaking & tried a repair which went even worse) So... I know the two lines are in the front, near the drier and the Air Cleaner box... Does anyone know the thread size of these fittings? I'd like to cap off the two lines and just run the front A/C. I've read the charging is half what is recommended, and use an o-ring with the procedure. Is there a special fitting?? Or can I just get an acorn nut and put it on there?
Any input will be appreciated... Thanks much!!
Joe
