Hi everyone,

I bought a new-to-me 2006 Yukon XL Denali with 89k miles from an Ebay wholesaler. It's an auction car so I don't know the service history. The interior looks like it's in great condition, although I won't know for sure until tomorrow when it's delivered by the transport company (I hope).

We bought it for a pretty good price. I'd like to put the savings towards getting it as close to mechanically new as is reasonably possible. The short list:

• spark plugs
• oil change
• coolant flush
• transmission flush
• brake fluid flush
• power steering rack flush
• flush/refill diff(s)
• liftgate shocks

I'm also going to ask my mechanic to take a close look at the Autoride system. Besides that, are there any other common suspension wear items (bushings, ball joints, control arms, etc.) that I should be replacing? Are there are other items I should be looking at?

I've also read a bunch about 4L60E failures, but I draw the line at transmissions replacements for proactive maintenance...

should be pretty much it unless something has failed or is leaking...i would also service the transfer case and if it doesnt have rack and pinion check the idler/pitman arms
