I am 97'burb and also a new user.

I would like to know has anyone purchased a 4l60e on eBay, or any other online sites? Were they reliable? Is there any major difference between the $600 and $1200? Are there any other parts I should be buying aside from the trans?

I have a 96 K2500 Suburban and had to have my transmission rebuilt (4l80e) and it cost me $2300. So if this helps!

I have a 93, put a$600 ebay tranny in about 50k mi ago, no complaints so far. Only gripe is they contacted me trying to push another $150 for a "better warranty".
