Just traded a 69 olds 88 for my new ride, a 2003 Tahoe. I have prior history with tahoe, I bought a new one in Henderson, Nevada on Halloween night, 1998. It was a 99 model and since selling it in 2004, I have missed the ride. This particular 03 model has 154k, I believe the 4.8 liter engine, its black and in need of a serious cleaning. Paint is poor as well. I just brought it home, as soon as wifey falls asleep I'm taking it into the garage and checking it out. I read reviews on the 03 model, they seem to be pretty positive. Oh one thing, the CEL came on.......

 

Just got back in. Its a vortec 5.3 liter. Did some general cleanup, tommorow I'm going to change engine oil and filter, needs a dipstick, and maybe coolant. Dirty truck. Was a contractor truck. Dunno if that's good or bad....
