No 4wheel drive

No 4wheel drive

I have a1998 Chevy Tahoe,the 4wheel drive will not engage and the selector buttons dont light up.Any advise will be greatly appreciated.

There is an electric actuator that actually completes the circuit to engage the 4wd.

check these fuses in the instrument panel fuse box
tcase fuse
4wd fuse
illumination fuse
gauges fuse
