No crank after I changed the transmission in my 03 Tahoe 4x4. My dash lights come on
After I finished changing my transmission in my Tahoe I have dash lights but turn the key and nothing what have I done wrong here and the shift indicator only works randomly

I would check that the small wire on the starter solenoid gets positive voltage when the key is held in the start position.
If no, then I would check the neutral safety switch and its wiring.
I think this is a big clue, but above my pay grade....
