No start issues
Hello if you're reading this I'm sad about my 2008 Chevy suburban back in February of this year 2022 I noticed after I bought it but the oil pressure was low so I changed the oil and that I was getting a knocking sound coming from the engine so I changed my lifters and my push rods didn't have any grooves on the camshaft so I left that alone my engine ran fine until it started misfiring so I change spark plugs wires and coil packs it got repoed after 7 months of paying on the Note because I was buying all these parts and tools to fix the truck after I got the truck back about 3 weeks later now all of a sudden the truck doesn't want to start so it's going to the truck back I've replaced the fuel pump the EVAP lines the fuel lines the fuel injectors it has a new battery in it and again also since before I got it repoed it was the lifters the push rods coil packs wires spark plugs if you have any ideas please let me know I'm having a really hard time trying to get this truck to start.
Before spending any more $$$ on parts,
If you can, watch a few videos explaining how to check for spark and fuel.
If you have both ,then there is more than you can handle right away.
It never hurts to have a spray can of carb and choke cleaner to use to check for fuel (starting fluid can do engine damage if too much is used), .
To check for spark you will need a second person to crank over the engine so you can see if spark is available.
This is what a tech/mechanic would need to do , so you can do that too.
Once you have some idea which is missing , you can concentrate your efforts on the parts that control that system.
There are a lot of saavy folks on this forum that can assist with further steps if necessary.
