Odd question about alarm
My wife accidently washed my key fob on a 2012 suburban in the washing machine. After it dried, I thought I would just see if it worked. Well, the alarm started going off, by hitting the unlock/lock button. Get her to start he car was he only way to get it to turn off but after we turned the car off, it would start going off again. I disconnected the battery and am asking your counsel. Thanks in advance

The problem is the fob, not your truck.
Disassemble the fob, remove the silicone membrane that makes the buttons, and let it dry out. It's basically four pieces - the two halves of the fob, a small circuit board, and the membrane. You'll see a slot in the seam of the two halves where you can use a penny to crack it open.
Most likely you have moisture under the membrane which is closing the circuit just like if you're pressing the button. In your case, I'd say it's specifically moisture under the panic button.
Reassemble and it should be fine. If you want to be thorough/quicker, once you've disassembled it, hit it with comressed air or an air duster can.
If that doesn't fix it, take a picture of the back of the fob so you have the frequency codes, then toss it in the trash and buy a new one off eBay for $20.
