Default Oil Leak

Hey guys. Have a 2008 Suburban 5.3 and found that it started leaking oil. First I thought it was the oil filter but looks like it's coming from the rear main. Not a large leak, but concerning anyway since I only have 87k on it. Oil pressure is good.

Anyone else have an issue with theirs? I'm taking it in for some service tomorrow and will have them check it out, just wanted to prep myself for the conversation.

Thanks.

Unfortunately, it is common for the 5.3 rear main seal to leak. However, it could also be the oil pan gasket, as that can also leak.

I hope that you can get it repaired without too much trouble.
