Your knock sensors are now on the outside of the engine and the wires and sensor are exposed at the back on the passenger side of the engine above and to the rear of the starter, check there for oil contamination. The oil sender is difficult to get at and techs have to pretty much lay in the engine compartment to reach it so wires may have been damaged during that previous work.
