Good point. My brother almost bought a 99 fixed roof coupe corvette back in 2006 that later we found out was a Katrina flooded car. They had dried it out cleaned it up and drove it to San Antonio almost a year later to sell it. while looking it over we found a bit of dirt under the carpet in the hatch area and the wire connections at the lights were rusty. And it had a clean carfax.
