Here is an easy place to miss when cleaning and detailing your ride. More often then not your doors are closed so you can't really get up under the door seal. I have found that after washing and drying the truck I can open all the doors and remove the outer door seal relativity easily. I found a fair amount of gunk that can prevent water from draining away creating potential leaks, rust and corrosion to the body, not to mention the deterioration of the rubber seal...
I pulled the seal away, wiped the area clean, applied a bit of wax to the body and reassembled...she is like new again...

 

I didn't know they came off that easy. I usually just pull them back each time and wipe them down.
