Tahoe & Suburban The power, space, and brutal towing ability make the Tahoe and its longer sibling, the Suburban, arguably the best full size SUV's on the market today.

Default Overhead Monitor

Hello! I am new to the forum, and a new and proud owner of the 2013 Suburban LTZ. That thing is fantastic!

I have several questions:

1. I have an OEM GPD/DVD unit. It plays DVDs when in park, and stops playing the video in drive. The sound still plays. That made me think that the video could still be played elsewhere, like on the aux screen. Does the OEM headunits have a "video out", or maybe a harness, that can accommodate it? Has anyone done it yet?

2. I ALWAYS run dash cams on my cars. I would power them by an incabin fuse. It seems that Burbs don't have switched power fuses. How do you power your switched power accessories?

3. WIND NOISE. is there a well known gasket trick to lower the driving wind noise?

4. Headlights dim slightly for a second when the break pedal is pressed or windows are being rolled up. Is that normal?

Thank you.
