Have a recurring P0430 code (pass side cat), and I can't pass emissions. I tried cataclean twice and a spark plug non fouler on the downstream 02 with no luck. I was thinking I could pay a muffler shop to cut off the cat and replace it. I can get a Walker 2.5 universal cat for around $100. My concern is when I was young Walker and AP were good quality stuff. Its been suggested to me that all aftermarket pieces are now Chinese crap. I have a little over 3 weeks to fix it. An OEM headpipe is over $1000 and out of the question. Does anyone have experience with this that can steer me in a good direction? I appreciate any feedback.
