P0449 Eval Emisson control system
Guys,
I have looked at the threads and wanted to ask for your help!
I have a Chevy Avalanche 2007 with the P0449. Looks like it is either a gas cap ($35) at Pohanka Chevrolet (not likely), or the EVAP Canister Vent Valve ($42). Both in stock. They do not have a manual but highlighted Helm Inc. adn 1-800-782-4356 to get it.
anyway, I will inspect the gas cap. Should I replace it either way. In other words, can there be a problem that's not visible.
I am not a mechanic by any means. Is the EVAP Canister Vent Valve easy to replace?
