The one I saw at Advance Auto (aka Parts America, aka Western Auto) was about $16.

It is easy to do. I think it's worth the time. To be honest, it costs more, but the best way to paint the caliper is to use a paint gun with the pigment and a catalyist (the same paint they use for the body of the car). It resists high temperatures and it also is the most chemical resistant and the color doesn't fade as quickly.

I've used both spray and brush methods and I liked the brush method much more. This is real easy to use, just make sure you clean the caliper real good with the supplied brake cleaner. Don't get discouraged and scared after the first coat bubles and looks like crap. The third or fourth coat will look like glass.

Here's the kit I used

I hope to paint mine sometime when it warms up. And as to us fireman making everything red...well real trucks are yellow.

Yellow is for urine, not fire trucks. Besides yellow also signifies scared, something us firefighters are not.

Just givin a brother FF a hard time. You got some small compartment spaces on that E-One, I couldn't get half the crap on my engine in there. By the way, beautiful scenery from that station.

OK well I went and got the kit at AutoZone last weekend. It was about $15 and got the fire truck red of course.I got the Dupli-Color® High Performance Caliper Paint Kitand well tonight I took each wheel off and cleaned, wiped, taped, and painted each caliper. I think it looks good but I ended up in the dark so I will have to take some better pictures tomorrow once it has dried and the sun is back up.

It took a long time just because I had never jacked my tahoe up before and had to figure out where to put the jack and how to support it incase it fell etc. I also only had the spare jack it came with so I had to do EACH tire by itself so it took forever lol. But I got it done over the course of 3 hours and seems to have worked good. Yes the first and second coats did look like crap but by the 3 and 4th it was good. The front ones are the hardest. It took the longest to tape and the most coats. The rears are easy and took 2 coats.

The paint dries super fast. I waited about 10-14 min between coats. I will attempt to post some of the pictures of it here...

So far now I have added:
-Chrome head light covers
-Westin stainless steal bull bar
-Wade bug guard
-Wade rain window guards
-GM mud flaps
-Stainless steal grill inserts
-Stainless steal tail light guards

I going to do it, but going to borrow or buy a hydraulic floor jack first. TxFireman you have a lot of patience to use the Tahoe Jack, but its looks great and I am sure it was worth it.
