Scrnchr i have an 03 Suburban that was doing the same thing. Found out the problem is the instrument cluster,I unplugged it and was out of town for 2weeks. When I got back it started right. I had the cluster repaired and it starts even if it sits for a week instrumentclusterstore.com. And on fb

 

@JEdwar As I mentioned earlier in this thread, and as you can see from the dates, Scrnchr is long gone.
Appreciate the feedback though. Hopefully it helps others.
