Default Parking Brake Adjustment

I went to push the parking brake down where it usually goes halfway down with some resistance on the pedal, instead it went straight down to the floor. Trying to figure out where the adjustment is for the parking brake too see if it's that or the cable snapped, Anyone know for a 2008 LTZ.

I don't know if it adjust under the pedal or at the brake. You can look underneath both. I don't think it is adjustment as it probably is a broken cable, or the adjustor locknut is off of it.

it won't go out of adjustment, like what you describing, all of a sudden. Something is broken.

inspect the cable...it runs along the drivers side frame rail. I've seen them break at the equilizer bolt adjuster.
