Battery disconnect worked for me too on a 2004 Suburban passenger door module with both remotes not working. I disconnected it for roughly 20 minutes, reconnected, started up the truck and that did the trick. It should be noted that I did just recently have my battery changed but I don't know if that had anything to do with it getting out of sync.
