Default Photos of how to install Escalade side vents.

Here are photos of the installation of my Escalade side vents. This took about 5 hours and are permanently installed.

Looks slick. Is it an optical illusion or did you somehow make a flange inside the hole?

They did build a flange inside the fender with Bondo® Polyester Fiberglass Resin show-en in the photo and bondo it to the body.
The guys took a Escalade fender apart and rebuilt it like the factory, the vent is not going anywhere.

That is crazy, did you do that yourself or have a professional do the install?

I would never have the guts to do that myself. Exactly what tool/saw was used in the cutting process?

If you dont mind, where did you pick up the escalade roof rack? I am looking for one myself.

What purpose does the plastic flange serve?

This was done at a professional shop by a guy who has done a bunch of these on various cars and trucks. Thats not a plastic flange its fiberglass and is similar to what is inside the Slade fender, it holds the vent in place.

I have no idea what they used to cut it, I could not be there for that (a good thing) cost $575.
As for the Escalade roof I went to the caddy dealer about the same price as the ones on ebay, but if I had a problem its easier to deal with them. You may want to check the cost of the Denali setup I believe they are about the same, then you have to paint the end caps. Installation is a snap direct bolt on with same bolts.
