Default Pioneer z1 install problems

Hey guys/gals

I am having problems with the install. I had a stereo shop install the z1 and now I dont have the rear parking sensors. The info states not hooked up. Is this suppose to happen when you hook up an aftermarket radio ?

Do I need to get an adapter to make the parking sensors (back up sensors) work ?

What about the turn signal chime and onstar ? Is there something else I need ?

Also something funny....If I get in and turn the key to on ( not start) and want to listen to the radio...I turn off the auto headlights and the radio goes off....What's up with that ?

I have the factory rear flipdown.....and headrest monitors and want to hook up the factory flipdown to the Pioneer z1....How do I make it work...?

On the positive not, I got the built in bluetooth and it works great, Nav is awesome and easy to use.

Thanks in advance...Kevin

He kevin. I've had the same problem once, harness interface that I used was made by metra/axxess
I called them about it, and they told me that first generation of their wiring harnesses did have a glitch, so I sent them old one back and they sent me the new one.
if You'll have a chance. go with PAC, theirs so much better

Ihave the metra gmos-lan02 in my truck and it works well. onstar still works too.I still have the turn signal chime in the left front tweeter as well. As far as the radio turning off with the headlights it sounds like the hooked up you accessory wire to the headlight wire which doesnt make sense because there is a accessory wire behind the radio.

I got the wiring fixed at the shop. Nav works.

I still need to figure out how to make the rear back up sensors work with an aftermarket radio ?

Like I said earlier, first generation of metra harnesses was deffective. You can give them a call @ tech support, and they will tell you same thing about problem with rear sensors
