Default Piston Ring Sealant to help Compresssion

This might be a silly question, and I'm more curious than anything else, because my truck is running fine.

Is there a piston sealant that would help restore some compression and power or even stop oil burning even if just slight?

Thanks
R.

I have seen stuff for head gaskets but not piston rings.... imo its all snake oil; no reputable mechanic would perform a repair with these type of products

I can see the appeal for the general public.

Default Mechanic in a can

Here is the miracle product you have been looking for!

Mechanic in a can! Rebuild your engine while you drive!
Blog with the Junk Man - Motorcycle How to and Repair

Just add the fluid to the crank and the metalized pellets to each cylinder and drive! Dealerships and mechanics everywhere don't want you to know about this product! Why spend $$$$$ when you can do it for $19.95 ! correction: $4.95

I think JCWitney used to sell this stuff too

I agree with tech2 but I have had luck with Restore when my kids were driving older, high mileage vehicles. YMMV

In Texas man years ago used car dealers had a goo called GLASS, they would fill the engines up with it before driving them through the auctions. it would last about 50 miles

there are some cleaners/flushes you can do to get the carbon loosened up/cleaned off the rings IF that's the actual issue but its still usually temporary at best.

Just like any of the aerosol refrigerant DIY cans or "stop leak" type products, just a bandaid at best.
